After Corbett, the Nanda Devi National Park and Valley of Flowers are very popular national parks in Uttaranchal and both the parks have been named as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rajaji National Park is very close to capital city of Uttarakhand - Dehradun. Govind Pashu vihar and Gangotri National Park are lesser known but worth visiting wild life sanctuaries in the state.
